About the Role:

We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses to join our team at Canberra Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered care to individuals and groups, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient progress, report changes, and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
