Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to join our offshore team on the Bayu Undan project.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with Timor-Leste Trade Trainees, providing guidance and assisting in the development of a learning environment.
  • They will also carry out planned maintenance in accordance with the requirements of the planned maintenance system.
  • Fault finding and rectification for electrical equipment and instrumentation systems will be a key responsibility.
  • The technician will be involved in checking and assisting in the final commissioning of electrical and instrumentation equipment, including HV and LV switchgear, instrumentation, and design modifications.
  • They will also perform inspections of work, hazardous area inspections, and package checks as required.
  • Preparation of technical reports and work order history for entry into the maintenance management system will be an important task.
  • The ideal candidate will understand safety requirements, key performance indicators, quality standards, and time frames required to complete the scope of works.
  • They will assist Clough Wood with Timor-Leste feedback reports and development progress observations.
  • The technician will also assist in the development of Timor-Leste Trade Trainee personnel by sharing technical skills and experience aligned to technical workbooks and offshore PRTs.
  • They will provide hands-on operational support to teams where required.
