Responsibilities:
  • Manage client caseloads effectively, leveraging the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks.
  • Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes for clients.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs in collaboration with employers and employees.
  • Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Operate across various schemes, including workers' compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
  • Assist clients in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes through assessments, treatment plans, and addressing psychosocial barriers to employment.
Qualifications:
  • A Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy/Exercise Physiology registered with AHPRA or ESSA is essential.
  • Prior experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage clients and stakeholders are required.
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy, along with strong time management skills, are vital for success in this role.
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance are necessary.
