About the Role
The University of Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Careers Development Officer to join our team. As a Careers Development Officer, you will play a key role in providing career assistance to students and recent graduates, including developing and coordinating projects that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs, activities, and resources to support employability and career development;
- Support the development of employability-related activities undertaken by schools within the University;
- Engage with employers in the wider community to promote career opportunities and support student employability;
- Provide career guidance and advice to students and recent graduates;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement career-related initiatives.
About You
- You will have a relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency;
- You will have substantial experience in developing and delivering training programs, activities, and resources;
- You will have highly developed written and verbal communication skills;
- You will have highly developed oral presentation and interpersonal skills;
- You will have highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
