Job Overview:

The role of Director, DevSecOps is a pivotal position that plays a key part in shaping our comprehensive security strategy. This includes driving security, reliability, and quality across our technology landscape through strategic leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will be responsible for leading high-performing Technology teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Your focus will be on ensuring the stability, performance, quality, and security of our production systems.

As a champion of proactive security practices, you will ensure our continued customer trust by identifying, assessing, and mitigating DevOps and security risks. You will also contribute to security architecture, engineering, and IT decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive security strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor Technology teams to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate DevOps and security risks to protect our customers and reputation.
  • Embed security principles early in design through cross-functional collaboration and provide strategic input into security architecture and engineering decisions.
  • Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Champion security automation, including SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning, and container security to enhance overall security posture.
  • Lead Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams, focusing on incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of system reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement in our security posture and implement 'shift-left' quality and performance practices.
  • Strategically collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals.
  • Manage cloud costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Own and evolve our vendor selection process for security requirements.
  • Lead the security approach to AI capabilities and ensure alignment with business objectives.
