About the Role

The State Aquatics Manager plays a pivotal leadership role, overseeing the direction and guidance of the Swimming & Water Safety (GOswim) Program across all NSW Aquatic facilities.

This position involves leading a high-performing team, establishing strong relationships with clients, and developing and promoting the GOswim program across multiple centres throughout the state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Increase revenue from LTS programs, including yield, net return, and year-on-year growth.
  • Ensure aquatic managers execute their roles consistently with the business strategy.
  • Compile and present data-driven reports to senior teams.
  • Foster effective communication through meetings and forums that promote collaboration across the organisation.
  • Drive change to deliver the execution of the aquatic strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Group Aquatics Leadership Team to achieve organisational objectives.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Police Clearance
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Working with Children Check (or equivalent)
  • Swim Teacher Licence
  • Strategic thinking
  • Budgeting and reporting acumen
  • Commitment to safety
  • Motivation, passion, and willingness to actively support access and inclusion
  • Ability to travel intrastate
  • Level 2 First Aid
  • Driver's Licence
