Optometrist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team in Canberra. As an Optometrist, you will work with world-class technology to perform eye examinations for a diverse range of customers.

You will have the opportunity to recommend lens solutions based on customer lifestyles and explain lens technology in a clear and concise manner. You will also have the chance to coach and mentor Graduate Optometrists in the usage and recommendation of technology to customers.

Your Responsibilities
  • Perform eye examinations for a broad range of customers by taking on different types of appointments e.g. kids, contact lenses, therapeutics etc.
  • Recommend lens solutions based on customer lifestyles
  • Explain lens technology and communicate the features and benefits of lens products to customers including coatings and extras
  • Coach and mentor Graduate Optometrists in the usage and recommendation of technology to customers
  • Work with the Store Manager and Managing Optometrists to maximise Eyecare revenue
