Job Title: Senior Care Companion

Assist elderly residents with daily living activities, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained.

  • Provide personal care such as showering, dressing, and toileting
  • Support day-to-day tasks like eating, social activities, and medication management
  • Work closely with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a safe environment
Responsibilities:
  • Perform duties in line with the organization's mission and values
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding of the needs of elderly residents
  • Cultivate positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Requirements:
  • A Certificate 3 in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexible to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and nights

This is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of elderly residents and provide them with the support they need to maintain their independence and dignity. As a Senior Care Companion, you will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and services to our residents.

Key responsibilities include providing personal care to residents, supporting them with daily tasks, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will also be responsible for performing duties in line with the organization's mission and values, demonstrating empathy and understanding of the needs of elderly residents, and cultivating positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

To be successful in this role, you will require a Certificate 3 in Aged Care or equivalent qualification, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and nights, is also essential.
