Senior Engineering Leader

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Leader to oversee our engineering processes, including system design, development, CI/CD, production support, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software engineering and experience in leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies and roadmaps to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex engineering initiatives, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Mentor and coach engineers to improve their skills and advance in their careers.
  • Collaborate with product managers to ensure alignment between technology and business objectives.
  • Ensure high code quality, testing, and security standards are integral to the team's culture.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience managing software engineering teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong technical background in Java and open-source technologies, with experience in design, implementing, and operating mission-critical, large-scale applications and platforms.
  • Strong experience in cloud-based technologies, including SaaS, AWS, and Google Cloud, with experience in managing and optimizing infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with proven success at delivering complex engineering initiatives.
  • Critical thinker with solid understanding of how to build scalable, maintainable, and performant software.
