About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Joinery Foreman to join our team at McNab. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to take on a leadership role and drive excellence in our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- To oversee the coordination of sites, installers, deliveries, and labor, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Closing out and coordinating all reworks across live projects, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Generate installation schedules across all projects, ensuring timely completion and efficient resource allocation.
- Coordinate loadout of joinery with site and install teams, streamlining logistics and reducing delays.
- Attend all subcontractor site meetings, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
- Coordinate joinery deliveries with the Project Manager, ensuring timely receipt and installation of materials.
- Site measures and set out on site, ensuring accurate and precise execution.
- Coordination of other service trades ahead of install teams, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Monitoring of defects on site, identifying and addressing issues promptly.
- Sign off ITPs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure high-quality on site, maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
- On the tools installing joinery when required, demonstrating hands-on leadership and expertise.
- Approval and signing of installers' fortnightly invoicing, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or project management position, preferably in commercial joinery.
- Relevant trade qualification in carpentry or joinery.
- A passion for quality and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- A strong focus on safety, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- A positive can-do attitude, with the ability to lead from the front and inspire a high-performing team.
- A willingness to learn and adapt, with a growth mindset and a desire to continuously improve.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
