About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Educational Team Leader to join our team at TAFE Queensland. As an Educational Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading and managing a teaching team or teams, providing leadership and supervision to achieve efficient and high-quality delivery to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a teaching team or teams to deliver high-quality educational outcomes and expected student experiences.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to achieve efficient and high-quality delivery to students.
  • Collaborate with educators to promote job satisfaction and improved quality of working life.
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve educational outcomes and expected student experiences.
  • Manage and perform associated administrative duties.
Requirements
  • Possession of relevant formal vocational (Trade) qualifications (Certificate III minimum, Australian equivalent).
  • Ability to demonstrate a broad range of current industry skills and experience within the trade and industry sector.
  • CPC30220 – Certificate III in Carpentry, or equivalent.
  • CPC30120 - Certificate III in Shopfitting, or equivalent.
  • Cabinet Making: MSF30322 - Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology, or equivalent.
  • Joinery: CPC31920 - Certificate III in Joinery, or equivalent.
Desirable Requirements
  • Five (5) or more years teaching experience within TAFE Queensland, Vocational Education, or another post-compulsory education experience.
  • An approved teaching qualification.
