About the Role

Cranbrook Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Bella Vista Gardens, a premier residential aged care facility in the Sydney Hills District.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our residents, working collaboratively with a dynamic team to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and effective personal and clinical care to residents, meeting their individual needs and optimizing their health and wellbeing.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Cranbrook Care's responsibilities under the Aged Care Act 1997 and the Aged Care Quality Standards 2019, ensuring compliance and accreditation at all times.
  • Lead and manage a team of personal carers, building capability and overseeing performance to ensure exceptional care delivery.
  • Live the Cranbrook Care culture and work according to our values.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a positive personality, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care. If you have a minimum of 3 years' experience, current registration with the NSW Registration Board, and First Aid and CPR qualification, we encourage you to apply.

Desirable Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience with regulatory compliance and quality improvement.
  • Experience monitoring infection control.
  • Care planning and assessment experience.
  • Dementia Care experience.
  • Palliative Care experience.
  • Aged care and ACFI/AN-ACC experience.

Personal Abilities and Attributes:

  • A kind and compassionate nature, with the ability to deal with sensitive and difficult issues in a professional, respectful, and caring manner.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, and a responsible approach to work procedures.
  • Good written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision, follow procedures, and complete set tasks to an appropriate quality standard.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to professionally and helpfully manage complaints.
