Home Care Assistant

The role of a Home Care Assistant is to provide care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence and enhancing their overall wellbeing.

This position involves performing various tasks such as:

  • General housekeeping and laundry, ensuring the home is clean and comfortable for the client.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and grocery shopping to ensure the client has access to nutritious food.
  • Providing social support and companionship to help alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Transporting clients to appointments and activities, helping them stay connected with their community.
  • Caregiver respite to give family members a break and allow them to recharge.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle.
  • An interest in community care or aged care, with experience preferred but not essential.
