Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at WorkFocus. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing workplace rehabilitation services to help individuals return to work and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment, and home assessments to identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers.
- Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve outcomes that benefit all parties.
- Design, implement, and monitor exercise programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce.
- Teach, coach, and motivate clients to facilitate self-management of exercise and healthy lifestyle, using models of behavior change, scientific evidence, and clinical reasoning.
- Design, implement, and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions based on referral information, presenting pathologies, and co-morbidities.
- Conduct initial assessments and identify RTW barriers, designing and implementing programs to assist injured employees to return to the workforce.
- Complete accurate case notes that reflect actions undertaken and any recommendations to achieve the Return to Work and Health goal.
Requirements:
- Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service.
- A keen sense of punctuality and effective time management skills.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven organization and time management skills.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Hold and maintain a current Australian Driver's Licence and own and maintain a road-worthy, comprehensively insured motor vehicle.
