Job Title: Allied Health Assistant - Community Care and Rehabilitation
Job Description
As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to the aged community of Ryde and Hunters Hill Local Government Areas. You will assist in providing group and individual treatment programs that empower aged clients to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Dietitians, and Speech Pathologists to provide comprehensive care services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in delivering high-quality care services to patients, including group and individual treatment programs.
- Support a multidisciplinary team in achieving excellent patient outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with allied health professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A minimum of a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or willingness to undertake this training.
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other RequirementsYou must hold a Class C Driver's Licence and be willing to undergo immunisation and screening for certain diseases.
