An Experienced Allied Health Assistant is required to join our multidisciplinary team.
About the RoleThis role plays a vital part in the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to assist clients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and administrative support to the Allied Health team by assisting with patient assessments, goal setting, and progress monitoring.
- Participate in regular meetings and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.
- Current NSW drivers licence and willingness to drive for work purposes.
- Occupational therapy or physiotherapy qualification without APHRA registration, or Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy roles.
- Experience working with or providing care to people in a healthcare setting.
