Our purpose is to create sustainable solutions for a better world. Job Description:BESIX Watpac requires a skilled engineer to manage building services design. This includes mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and fire management to ensure documentation meets specifications, budgets, and project timelines for construction and installation.The successful candidate will coordinate building services engineering consultants and subcontractors as required. They will work with Contracts Administrators to identify cost-saving opportunities and assist in product selection and problem-solving to achieve best value.The role involves reviewing all documentation for adequacy of design input and monitoring production of workshop drawings and as-built documents.The engineer will also monitor construction and plant installation progress on site, ensuring compliance with quality control, engineering, and safety requirements.In addition, they will participate in handover and commissioning of the project, including submission of final documentation, as-built documents, authority approvals, warranties, training, and guarantees. Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.You will also require experience in coordinating mechanical and/or electrical design, construction, and installation activities on building projects.Strong communication, influence, and relationship-building skills are essential, as well as the ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills. Benefits:This role offers the opportunity to work on complex infrastructure projects and contribute to creating sustainable solutions for a better world.
