Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced accountant to join our team as an Intermediate or Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance needs for clients.

  • Preparation of Income Tax Returns, Financial Statements, & other compliance needs for companies, trusts, partnerships & sole traders.
  • Review of Business Activity Statements.
  • Preparation of all Australian Taxation Office forms for clients.
  • Preparation of tax advice to clients.
  • Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients.
  • Liaising directly with clients in relation to their compliance work.
  • Working with the directors for large clients.
  • Helping to solve technical tax issues for clients.
  • Provide instruction & support to the bookkeeping team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CA/CPA qualifications or working towards this?
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role?
  • Experience with Xero Practice Manager & Xero Tax?
  • Strong technical skills in relation to taxation?
  • Excellent accuracy and time management skills?
  • A passion for exceptional client service?
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team?
