About the Role

We are seeking skilled and experienced individuals to join our team as Meat Production Specialists. This role involves the humane slaughter of livestock and/or precise boning and trimming of carcasses to required specifications.

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of animal welfare, hygiene, and product quality. You will also play a critical role in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform humane slaughter of cattle, sheep, or pigs in accordance with legal and company standards.
  • Bone, trim, and prepare meat cuts with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Operate and maintain knives and tools safely.
  • Follow hygiene and health & safety regulations at all times.
  • Work as part of a team to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (slaughtering or boning).
  • Certificate of Competence (COC) for slaughter (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to work in a cold and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
  • Reliable and punctual.
