We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our team at Snowflake. As a key member of our Professional Services team, you will play a critical role in delivering technical expertise to our customers, ensuring their success with our data warehousing platform.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical deployments of Snowflake to our customers, working closely with customer system integrators and internal teams.
- Provide technical guidance, project management, and functional support to ensure successful customer onboarding and implementation.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Sales Engineering, and Professional Services teams to drive customer success.
- Help clients troubleshoot implementation issues and identify areas for improvement.
- Document and track issues to ensure resolution and contribute to the growth and scalability of our Customer Delivery and Training and Education teams.
- Apply industry/domain/technology expertise to client implementations and gather intelligent product feedback to inform new features and capabilities.
- 12+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, with a strong background in database and data warehouse experience.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms, including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and OpenStack.
- Experience implementing ETL pipelines using custom and packaged tools, as well as using AWS services such as S3, Kinesis, Elastic MapReduce, and Data Pipeline.
- Strong presence, innovative and assertive, with the ability to pick up new technologies and assess situations quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet stated quality objectives.
- 2+ years of practical Snowflake experience.
- OLAP Data modeling and data architecture experience.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with non-relational platforms and tools for large-scale data processing, such as Hadoop and HBase.
- Familiarity with common BI and data exploration tools, such as MicroStrategy, Business Objects, and Tableau.
