The University of Queensland is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to contribute to the ongoing development, operation, and reporting processes of the ATLAS data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deploy an online data dashboard, delivering data visualisation to stakeholders and knowledge users.
- Independently develop and lead academic analyses of the ATLAS data, as well as contribute to the technical development of the ATLAS surveillance infrastructure expansion.
- Lead the development and management of the interactive data dashboard for Health Services and stakeholders.
- Develop reports and dashboards based on available data from core systems and identify opportunities for automation.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the ATLAS data pipeline.
- Document code and contribute to data dictionaries, codebooks, and other administrative documentation.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in data analytics and visualisation using Python, SQL, R, and Django. The successful candidate will have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Information Management, or a relevant scientific discipline, with at least four years of subsequent relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated high-level organisational ability and initiative, including evidence of being effective in work planning, research, and prioritising to meet deadlines, often with competing demands in a complex team environment.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia.
