The role of a Financial Operations Expert is to play a pivotal part in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, tax compliance, and governance across multiple mandates. This involves working closely with fund managers, investors, and auditors to provide end-to-end financial reporting support and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with fund managers to deliver comprehensive financial reporting across multiple mandates.
- Lead the preparation and review of statutory accounts, board papers, and investor reports.
- Respond to audit queries and prepare accounting treatment memos.
- Manage tax compliance, including BAS, taxable income statements, and annual returns.
- Drive special projects and process improvements, standardizing best practices across mandates.
- Degree-qualified and CA/CPA accredited professional with relevant experience in accounting or professional services.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
- Experience with systems such as SAP, Anaplan, or HFM.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, governance focus, and collaborative approach, with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
