We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at BaptistCare. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading and managing staff and resources to deliver high-quality and safe food services to our residents.

Mealtimes are a vital part of our residents' daily routine, and we are committed to providing them with nutritious and delicious meals. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our residents receive the best possible dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to deliver high-quality food services
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
  • Manage stock control, budgeting, and inventory to ensure efficient and cost-effective food operations
  • Ensure high-quality presentation of all meals to residents
  • Manage the facility's café and provide excellent customer service
About You

We are looking for a Chef with:

  • A qualification in commercial cookery or equivalent
  • At least 5 years' experience in a large catering or multi-outlet environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HACCP, FSANZ, and NSW Food Authority standards and principles
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively unsupervised
