About the Role

We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Bella Vista Gardens, a premier aged care residence in Sydney Hills District.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional food services and be committed to providing high-quality meals that cater to the diverse needs of our residents.

As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing and leading a kitchen team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control.

You will work closely with our Leadership Team to develop menus that meet the nutritional and dietary needs of our residents, and provide excellent customer service to our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a kitchen team to deliver high-quality food services
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional and dietary needs of residents
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and their families
Requirements
  • Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery or other related trade qualification
  • Experience in aged care, hospital, or hotel background
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a kitchen team
  • Sound understanding of all regulatory compliance and food safety associated with cooking for vulnerable persons
  • Strong communication and time management skills
