Senior Podiatrist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Podiatrist to join our team at Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network. As a Senior Podiatrist, you will play a key role in enhancing healthcare delivery in rural and remote South Australia.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead a team of allied health professionals, focusing on quality, safety, and community-driven service enhancements. You will collaborate with managers and stakeholders on innovative care models and workforce development, making a real impact on healthcare in our region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of allied health professionals in providing advanced clinical assessments and treatments for patients with foot and lower limb conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, educate patients on foot health, and contribute to research projects to advance podiatric medicine.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as physicians and physiotherapists, to optimize foot health and improve quality of life for patients.
  • Oversee junior podiatrists and allied health professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold a recognized qualification within the Podiatry Profession and be eligible for full membership of the relevant Allied Health Profession. You must also be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
