Senior Podiatrist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Podiatrist to join our team at Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network. As a Senior Podiatrist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing healthcare delivery in rural and remote South Australia.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead a team of allied health professionals, focusing on quality, safety, and community-driven service enhancements. You will collaborate with managers and stakeholders on innovative care models and workforce development, making a real impact on healthcare in our region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced clinical assessments and treatments for patients with foot and lower limb conditions.
  • Oversee junior podiatrists and allied health professionals, ensuring high-quality care and service delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers, such as physicians and physiotherapists, to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans, educate patients on foot health, and contribute to research projects to advance podiatric medicine.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold a recognized qualification within the Podiatry Profession and be eligible for full membership of the relevant Allied Health Profession. You must also be able to obtain and maintain current registration, if required.
