We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Endoscopy Unit at Calvary St Vincent's Hospital in Launceston. The successful candidate will be working on a fixed term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about patient-centred care and being part of a values-driven organisation.
The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills, with recent experience in acute care or hospital settings. Ideally, exposure to Endoscopy or Theatre would be advantageous.
The key responsibilities of this role include welcoming and admitting patients into our unit, assisting medical officers during procedures, providing safe and supportive recovery for patients post-procedure, and building strong connections with patients and their families through clear, compassionate communication.
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse and meet our requirements for the position. As part of the application process, you will be required to complete pre-employment checks which may include reference checks, work rights, criminal history check, and a health evaluation to ensure suitability for the role. You will also be required to provide evidence of immunisation as required for your role.
