About the Opportunities

We are excited to announce multiple openings for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers - Avionics to join our Aerospace Program, reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Shift Team Leader to execute tasks as assigned, including both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Ensure all maintenance and technical documentation is authorized for use and meets the standards set by the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), BAE Systems procedures, and Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) regulations.
  • Accurately document and record details of maintenance activities performed.
  • Incorporate all necessary documentation for engineering advice, defect reporting, maintenance deficiencies, and publication amendments as directed.
  • Promptly report any defects, deficiencies, maintenance errors, and unserviceability to the Team Leader.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks only within the delegated and authorized scope.
  • Initiate quality, non-conformance, or defect reporting related to maintenance tasks as directed.
  • Maintain and operate workshop equipment in accordance with authorized technical data.
  • Perform hangar and/or workshop duties as required by local business operating manuals, procedures, and policies.
  • Be prepared to support flight operations in deployed areas.

About You

  • A Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics)
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity within a workshop or hangar setting
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance of "Baseline"
  • Familiarity with Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative team environment
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety
