Physiotherapist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team in Ballina and surrounding areas.

This key role delivers evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and intervention to clients under Aged Care Funding. These services aim to promote independence and restore functional independence to enable clients to remain living at home.

The ideal candidate will possess a Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration, as well as proven ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients within the community.

Postgraduate experience working across diverse aged care services, including community-based settings, is highly desirable. The successful candidate will also have thorough knowledge of health and well-being frameworks, including reablement and restorative care models.

  • A degree in physiotherapy with current registration as a healthcare professional;
  • Proven ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop programmes tailored to the requirements of each client;
  • Postgraduate qualifications and experience working in community-based settings;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently;
  • Proficient in computer literacy with a willingness to utilise required software to facilitate remote work;
  • Commitment to understanding and upholding the organisational values and actively promoting these through professional interactions;
  • Current first aid certification or a demonstrated willingness to obtain one;
  • A valid unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance.
