SYC delivers employment services at numerous locations across Australia, and this position will involve working with these participants to support their career goals and aspirations.

The role will be based within a supportive team environment, where we work together to achieve outstanding results. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building relationships with employers, communities, and other stakeholders to secure sustainable employment outcomes.
  • Engaging with participants to understand their needs and develop strategies to address any challenges they may face.
  • Attending careers events and networking opportunities to promote SYC's employment services.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Previous experience working effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients of all ages.
  • Strong engagement skills and the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct client assessments and case planning.

Additional requirements include:

  • A current and valid driver's licence and own registered vehicle.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
