Job Title: Night Manager

This is a unique opportunity to take on the role of Night Manager at our luxurious hotel in Sydney.

As Night Manager, you will be responsible for managing overnight operations and ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service. You will be the face of our hotel after hours, and we are looking for someone who can provide a warm and welcoming experience for our late-arriving and early-departing guests.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience as a Supervisor or Manager in a Front Office environment, or previous experience in Night Audit. You will also need to be able to work night shifts across a 7 day roster and maintain a professional image at all times through personal presentation and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests who arrive late and depart early with a friendly smile.
  • Managing overnight operations for the hotel.
  • Actively responding to and resolving guest complaints.
  • Preparing and distributing relevant reports to the Front Office and other departments.
  • Cross-checking and balancing work completed during the day for all outlets on a shift basis.
  • Ensuring the highest level of customer service is offered and maintained at all times to all guests.
  • Providing efficient service for guest registration and departure.
  • Maintaining accurate guest accounts and providing accurate, helpful information.
  • Maintaining strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Supervisor or Manager in a Front Office Environment.
  • Previous experience in Night Audit preferred.
  • Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Initiates contact and establishes rapport easily.
  • Strong knowledge of Opera PMS preferred.
  • Exceptional grooming, presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work night shifts across a 7 day roster.
  • Knows how to have fun in the workplace.
