Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our dynamic service providing coordination of care to consumers with complex mental illnesses and rehabilitation needs.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for coordinating care for consumers with complex mental illnesses and rehabilitation needs, providing leadership and mentorship within the clinical team, and engaging with performance improvement activities.
  • This role requires collaboration with other health professionals to deliver consumer-focused care in a community setting, utilizing mental health outcome and assessment tools to inform care models and service development.
Requirements
  • A Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist qualification in accordance with NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award, current full registration with AHPRA and/or eligibility for AASW membership.
  • Experience in mental health with a consumer-focused recovery-oriented approach, leading quality improvement activities including policy development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, advanced practice skills in assessment and management of complex mental health clients in a community setting.
  • Experience with mental health outcome tools and data in care model development and review, clinical supervision and support of clinical staff.
