About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Australian Unity. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality in-home support services to our aged care customers, enabling them to live independently and remain within their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to customers, including assistance with daily living activities, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Accompany customers to appointments and outings, promoting social interaction and a sense of community.
- Assist with transportation to appointments, shopping, and social outings, ensuring customers' mobility and independence.
- Implement safe manual handling and driver awareness practices to ensure customers' safety and well-being.
Requirements:
- Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle.
- Fully vaccinated minimum 2 doses for Covid-19.
- Flexibility to work rosters between 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
- Minimum 12 months experience and/or a Certificate III in Individual Support (ideal but not essential).
