Aveo is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Attendant to join our team at Albany Creek Retirement Village.

As a Personal Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality daily care services to residents, promoting their independence and well-being. You will enjoy fostering strong relationships with residents, their families, and your colleagues to deliver exceptional care outcomes.

This is a permanent part-time position working 56 hours per fortnight, with varying shifts across two weeks. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering kind, caring, and respectful personal care that supports residents' choice and independence.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to provide safe and effective daily personal care tailored to residents' needs and care plans
  • Ensure all residents receive kind, caring, and respectful personal care supporting their choice and independence
  • Assist residents with tasks such as medical and personal support, domestic cleaning, and general administration duties
  • Support residents with recreational and social activities
  • Follow Aveo's OH&S policies and procedures and report any incidents
  • Be passionate, trustworthy, reliable, and enjoy connecting with residents, colleagues, and the wider community

What You'll Need

  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Health Services Assistance (required)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate (required)
  • Current Police Check clearance (required, however Aveo can assist with this)
  • Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up to date (required)
