Associate Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in guiding our dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to our patients.
About the Role- Lead AN-ACC assessments and ensure new admissions are assessed and have person-centred care plans within 14 days.
- Attend high-risk meetings and daily huddles to stay informed about changes in consumer care needs.
- Provide essential support and education to clinical staff, including Leecare EMR training.
As a Registered Nurse/Midwife, you will deliver nursing and midwifery services across various settings, continually developing your skills and guiding less experienced staff. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Promoting continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with other ANUMs and the Nurse Unit Manager.
- Assisting with the implementation of practice changes.
The successful applicant will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. They will also have at least 3 years post registration nursing experience or be currently classified as a clinical Nurse/Midwife.
