As a centre operations manager, your primary goal will be to oversee the efficient operation of data centres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the central point of contact for all data centre operations-related matters.
  • Establish an operational framework that drives improved performance in data centre management.
  • Implement automation and resource optimization strategies to create a scalable and efficient operational model, reducing operating costs.
  • Lead and mentor the data centre operations team across geographies, enabling delivery on key outcomes.
  • Support data centre teams in achieving their objectives by identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Standardize tools, processes, and procedures for each data centre with a focus on driving efficiency into the system.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with key partners supporting data centre operations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of data centre operations processes and procedures.
  • High level of expertise in electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills.
  • Able to resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to make informed decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions.
  • Capacity to coach and motivate less experienced team members to achieve their goals.

This role requires a deep understanding of data centre operations and the ability to drive process improvements. Experience in leading operations support projects and providing exceptional service is highly valued.
