Our client is a renowned, innovative, and close-knit plaintiff personal injury law firm experiencing remarkable growth, particularly in their Total Permanent Disablement/Superannuation division.
YOUR POSITION
As a vital member of the Superannuation Insurance Claims team, specializing in Total & Permanent Disablement/Income Protection, you will find immense satisfaction in assisting clients who have suffered serious injuries in navigating their claims related to TPD and income protection through their superannuation and other insurance policies.
You will support a senior TPD/SUPER/INSURANCE attorney in managing complex and stimulating cases while also handling some of your own less intricate files. This role offers comprehensive experience including:
- Gathering client instructions, evaluating medical evidence, and reviewing trust deeds/insurance policies.
- Conducting legal research and providing expert legal advice regarding claim viability.
- Engaging with superannuation funds, insurers, their legal representatives, and medical professionals.
- Preparing briefs for counsel and participating in court or settlement discussions.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We invite applications from candidates who:
- Are qualified solicitors with a minimum of 24 months of experience in TPD/superannuation law, either in private practice or in-house for an insurer.
- Possess a solid understanding of the processes involved in the life cycle of a TPD claim.
