Drilling Rig Maintenance Specialist">

We are seeking a skilled Drilling Rig Maintenance Specialist to join our maintenance team and strengthen our capability.

The ideal candidate will have relevant trade qualifications, with preferred experience in maintaining Surface Drilling equipment – Sandvik equipment is highly valued.

The successful applicant will be responsible for servicing and repairing our fleet of drilling rigs, following company procedures and completing daily electronic inspections using our cloud-based IMS system.

Key responsibilities include understanding Hydraulic and Electrical schematics, parts manuals, and workshop manuals. The role requires working autonomously as well as part of a larger team.

The position offers flexible residential location options, with internal technical support and training provided. A strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skillset is essential, along with a commitment to quality customer service.

Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Preferred experience in maintaining Surface Drilling equipment
  • Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Commitment to quality customer service
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical, reference checks, police checks, and regular onsite drug & alcohol testing
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Current valid driver's license
