Job Title: Project Design Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Design Lead to manage the pre-construction design activities across multiple construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the pre-construction design process to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to achieve project objectives
  • Review project specifications and contracts to identify design requirements and constraints
  • Provide expert advice on project design schedules and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and applicable regulations
  • Advise on buildability and methodology to optimize project outcomes
  • Monitor project progress and report key milestones and potential issues to senior management
  • Resolve design-related issues and escalate concerns as necessary to maintain project integrity
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Commercial building experience in a design management or project engineering capacity
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
