Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. With a 6:1 ratio, you will be part of a dedicated team of Physicians, Advanced Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants.

This position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional care and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
  • Initiate appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
  • Perform timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Perform timely and accurate QI assessments

To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of nursing principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or from a compact state
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
  • AHA ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
  • One year of experience preferred
