This key role will oversee the effective delivery of haulage operations under our haulage and train load out contract, ensuring compliance with client, regulatory, and company responsibilities, including safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of operators to ensure efficient and safe haulage operations
  • Supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and training
  • Conduct regular on-the-job observations, coaching, and mentoring to support employee development
  • Ensure compliance with QUBE procedures, policies, and client operations
  • Organize and schedule operators to meet daily haulage requirements and targets
  • Manage production and mechanical issues
  • Provide comprehensive reporting to the management team
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in mining and/or heavy transport, preferably in a similar role
  • Prior experience working in haulage and achieving production targets
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Good knowledge of best practices in mining and road transport operations
  • Relevant qualifications, such as Mining Supervisor S123 and G2 Risk Facilitator
