**The opportunity**:
The position of Supervisor is one of significant responsibility.

The Supervisor is not only responsible for their own work but is also responsible for leading others to ensure warehouse objectives are met.

The Supervisor is expected to take the initiative and make decisions as and when is necessary to ensure uninterrupted distribution while maintaining a safe working environment.

The position is a "hands on" (operational) role working as part of the team. The duties listed below are the minimum requirements of the role.

The Supervisor is responsible for efficient assembly of ALL Customer orders to meet scheduled Run departure times, and to ensure adequate labour to cover these areas of the Lyppard Warehouse.

The position involves picking/packing & distributing veterinary pharmaceutical products to veterinary clinics throughout Queensland & New South Wales

**Warehouse Supervisor Requirements**
- Leadership qualities.
- Able to maintain a professional and courteous demeanour.
- Proven ability to coordinate and motivate staff, follow up and set deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to recommend and implement process improvement
- Time management skills and a sense of urgency.
- Ability to establish performance requirements, manage staff performance and provide feedback to the branch Manager.
- A knowledge and understanding of WH&S Management System
- Attention to detail and follow up.
- Ability to lead and motivate staff.

**What we are looking for**:

- Ideally, you will possess the following skills and abilities:

- Forklift license (advantageous)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and presentation.
- RF Pick/Pack experience (advantageous)
- A working understanding of WH&S issues within a warehouse environment.
- Basic computer literacy and XL
- Fit and capable of physical Labor able to lift 20kg numerous times daily.
- Able to work under pressure, attention to detail and meet deadlines is essential.
- Be safety focused with a passion for quality and customer service
- Clean Habits
- Own transportation advantageous
- Police Check and Medical will be required for the successful applicant
