About the Employment Consultant RoleThis role involves delivering job-seeking preparation and job placement services to participants with injuries or health conditions, supporting work trials, volunteer work, or direct job placement.
A background in rehabilitation, employment services, recruitment, or a related field would be beneficial, although on-the-job training is provided.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement personalized job placement strategies for participants
- Establish relationships with potential employers to source work trials and new employment opportunities
- Effectively communicate and engage with clients
- Collaborate with colleagues and work independently
- Manage electronic client records and apply Microsoft Office skills
- Minimum 3 years' experience in workplace rehabilitation services, disability, employment case management, or job placement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Class C Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
