Electrical Engineer for Large-Scale Mining Operations

Automotive Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Electrician to fill this challenging role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe execution of scheduled maintenance and repair to large-scale mining equipment, primarily CAT 793 dump trucks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics and fault finding on all Heavy Mobile Equipment
  • Resource allocation and procurement of necessary tooling/parts
  • Component repair as required
  • Field and workshop duties
  • Maintenance works must be carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures
Qualifications And Requirements
  • Australian recognised Automotive Electrical Trade Qualification is essential
  • C class licence is mandatory
  • High level of safety awareness and orientation is a requirement
  • Experience with heavy mobile equipment, specifically CAT 793, is highly advantageous
  • Familiarity with OEM diagnostic tooling is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Heavy mobile equipment experience is essential, preferably with CAT 793. Experience with OEM diagnostic tooling and proficiency in Microsoft applications are highly desirable. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also required.
