Job Title: Configuration Officer

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering solutions and changing the world.

\

KBR, a leading Defence and Government professional services provider, has been delivering solutions to Defence and Defence industry for over 20 years. We provide in-depth expertise to a wide range of Defence sector projects through our core competencies of program and project management, engineering, asset management, integrated logistics support, procurement and training solutions.

\

The Capability Life Cycle Management (CLCM) is integrated into the System Program Office (SPO) and contracted to deliver through-life asset management of Products being supported (PBS). The CLCM performs asset, sustainment and engineering functions to optimise availability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and minimise risk through life of the PBS.

\

The successful candidate will have knowledge in configuration tools in support of ILS on the PBS, such as APLCrates and NAVALLOW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and manage changes required to the configuration baselines of the PBS.
  • Review and examine the integrity of metadata and conduct data queries relating to verification of updates to the configuration baseline.
  • Review and manage configuration changes and deviations.
  • Participate in Configuration Control Boards.
  • Deliver Configuration Status Accounting data and services.
  • Respond to external audits and Corrective Action Reports.
  • Other duties as directed by the Configuration and Data Manager.

Requirements:

\
  • At least 5 years' experience in an engineering role (preferably within the Defence industry).
  • Experience in Configuration Management Tool (CMT)/TeamCentre.
  • Experience in SCPM.
  • Experience in Asset Maintenance Planning System (AMPS).
  • Must be eligible for ITAR clearance of relevant ship systems.
  • Experience in APLCrates and NAVALLOW

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma, or equivalent, qualification in a recognised Engineering related discipline.
  • Experience in the Department of Defence.
  • Experience in MILIS
