About this role

We are seeking a skilled professional to support our Events Coordinator in delivering exceptional service at major events and festivals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Events Coordinator with tasks to deliver services at major events and festivals.
  • Develop and update project plans and implementation schedules.
  • Contribute to large recruitment drives for event staff.
  • Onboard new employees via our system, ensuring compliance prior to commencement.
  • Coordinate pre-event administrative functions, including staffing requirements (managing upwards of 150 employees).
  • Prepare pre- and post-event cleaning timelines.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers, obtain quotes, and schedule services.
  • Process invoices and purchase orders.
  • Work as part of the onsite management team for major events.

What We Require from You

  • You must be an organisational guru with excellent attention to detail.
  • A sound understanding of Microsoft Office suite/apps; Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Forms.
  • A current driver's license and own vehicle.
  • A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • A positive attitude and desire to learn new things.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
