Job Role: Food Services Support

We are seeking a supportive team member to assist in the delivery of nutritious meals and refreshments to our residents. As part of our kitchen team, you will work closely with our Chef and Cook to ensure every meal is prepared to the highest standards.

About the Job

  • Assist with menu planning to meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Prepare, serve, present, and deliver food and refreshments in line with our food safety program.
  • Carry out general cleaning duties to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Monitor and record temperatures and receipting goods as required.
  • Ensure meals and refreshments are delivered in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Report any concerns related to food or beverages to the Registered Nurse in Charge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of our food safety program.
  • Contribute to maintaining a welcoming dining environment for residents.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Food Handling Course (or ability to acquire).
  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
  • Previous experience in residential aged care food services (an advantage).
