Policy Leadership Role

The role of Principal Policy Officer involves strategic policy development, legislation shaping and stakeholder engagement. This appointment is a key position in the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and shape policy through expert advice, stakeholder engagement and strategic analysis.
  • Provide clear documentation including discussion papers, policy positions and draft regulations.
