Job Title: Cardiac Nursing Professional

The program is designed to provide structured support and education for nurses new to cardiac care. Through a combination of clinical experience, mentorship, and targeted learning opportunities, this programme aims to build foundational competence and confidence in managing cardiac patients.

This role is suited for Registered and Enrolled Nurses who have at least 12 months of experience in hospital settings and have a particular interest in cardiac nursing (surgical & medical).

Key Program Components:

  • Support from experienced cardiac clinical nurses and educators
  • Ongoing professional development sessions
  • Clinical skill-building tailored to novice-level learning

What You Bring:

  • A passion for pursuing a career in cardiac nursing
  • At least 12 months Acute Nursing experience
  • Eagerness to expand their clinical expertise and become a cardiac nurse leader
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
  • Readiness to take the next step in their professional development
  • AHPRA Registration with no restrictions
  • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Commitment to working within a collaborative, respectful team environment
  • Ability to work all shifts over a 7 day roster
