About the Service

KU Children's Services is a reputable and established provider of early education to children aged 2-5 years old. Our service is located in a sunny seaside town and offers a unique and engaging learning environment.

The Role

We are seeking a Certificate III qualified educator to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. As a pivotal break cover educator, you will work 5 hours per day, 9:30am-2:30pm, Wednesday to Friday, providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 2-5 years old
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve service goals and objectives
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues

Requirements

  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Completed training in Child Protection
  • A sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • A working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
